If you have a season’s pass please show it to the gate attendant to gain admission. If you purchased a ticket for the Thanksgiving banquet\, your name will be on the guest list and you will be checked in by the gate attendant. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMembers and Seasonal Pass Holders…Have Your Pass Ready!\n\n\n\n All members and season pass holders who did not purchase a ticket for the banquet will be required to show their yearly pass when arriving at the SSC.  If you do not have your pass with you\, you will be required to pay the $20 admission fee.  NO EXCEPTIONS! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVisitors Without a Banquet Ticket\n\n\n\nPlease note that admission to the Hall will be restricted to Thanksgiving Banquet ticket holders only until the dinner service is completed. DESCRIPTION:Pesem. Tradicija. Ponos.Cenimo bogato slovensko kulturno dediščino in z ubranimprepevanjem plemenitimo našo skupno sedanjost. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nLjutomerski oktet je bil ustanovljen v davnem letu 1965. V tem obdobju je oktet opravil izjemno oslanstvo  kulturnem prostoru širom Slovenije in tudi izven njenih meja. Temeljno poslanstvo pevskega sestava je negovanje slovenske ljudske in umetne pesmi ter obujanje fantovskega načina petja z ohranjanjem pristnega izvajanja podoknic in napitnic. \n\n\n\nPovabilo za potovanje v Kanado je prišlo v pravem trenutku\, da ga lahko štejemo kot uvod v praznovanje našega visokega jubileja\, 60-letnice delovanja. Kraje Toronto\, Hamilton in Ottawa z okolico bomo z ljutomerskim oktetom obiskali v času med 16. in 23. majem 2024. \n\n\n\nOsnovni namen našega gostovanja bo spoznavanje prvinskega jezikovnega in kulturnega bogastva slovenskih izseljencev v Torontu\, Hamiltonu in okolici\, kar bomo skušali oplemenititi s predstavitvijo domače slovenske pesmi našim zdomcem ter njihovim potomcem\, sorodnikom in prijateljem v Kanadi. \n\n\n\nPrinašamo vam pozdrave številnih sorodstveno povezanih družin iz naše bližnje in daljne okolice: iz Prlekije\, Prekmurja\, Štajerske\, Koroške ter tudi iz bolj oddaljenih koncev naše domovine. Tako pestro bo sestavljen tudi naš koncertni program\, ki ga bomo predstavili v Hamiltonu in Torontu. Zapeli bomo tudi pri svetih mašah v vaših župnijskih cerkvah\, kjer bomo predstavili Mašo za moški zbor nedavno preminulega skladatelja Jožeta Trošta in skupaj s cerkvenim občestvom zapeli nekaj znanih pesmi iz ljudske cerkvene pesmarice. \n\n\n\nDragi zdomci: na tem kratkem potovanju po Kanadi se veselimo predvsem srečanja z vami\, vašega cenjenega obiska na naših koncertih in skupnega prepevanja. Veseli bomo (v dneh in ob večerih\, ko smo še prosti) vašega prijaznega povabila na kozarček in klepet v okviru vašega društva ali v krogu vaše družine in prijateljev.
